Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities offers scholarship
Staff
The Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities is offering a scholarship opportunity for local Medina County high school students. There is a single $1,500 scholarship this year.
The scholarship was founded to recognize and support young people who are considering a career that may serve individuals with developmental disabilities.
Applicants must be a current Medina County high school senior and have been accepted into an accredited program in a field which may provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Applicants must also demonstrate involvement in, or have provided services to, individuals with developmental disabilities through activities like Special Olympics, classroom activities, volunteering or job shadowing.
Interested students must complete and submit a donor scholarship application form before Tuesday to be considered. Forms are available by calling (330) 725-7751 ext. 273 or at mcbdd.org.
