Developmental disabilities board to help families apply for grants
Staff
The Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities is offering times for families to receive help applying for special needs grants and other support.
During the free one-on-one sessions, Parent Support Tammy Eisenreich will guide families through the grant application process to receive help with funding for summer camps, therapy, equipment, and other services not covered by insurance.
She will answer questions and can provide checklists, lists of available grants, sample letters, and more.
Available time slots are 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Rehab Dynamics, 3160 Central Park W., or 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities, 1154 Larc Lane, Door L.
Those interested should register for a specific day and time at bit.ly/granthelpfromTammy.
If the available dates don’t work, individuals can set up a meeting at another time with Ms. Eisenreich by contacting her at teisenreich@lucasdd.org or 419-356-3824.
