Lucas County seeking applicants for boards, commissions

The Lucas County commissioners are asking residents to apply to serve on various boards and commissions. 

“Public participation is essential to good governance,” the commissioners said in a joint statement. “By lending their talents to serve on a board, residents will have the chance to weigh in on key decisions, advocate for important issues, and help guide policies that impact the lives of their fellow residents.”

The county is currently accepting applications for the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority, and the Lucas County Children Services Board of Trustees.

Residents from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Individuals interested in applying can find more information and submit an application by visiting co.lucas.oh.us/76/Boards-and-Commissions.
