Wendy Gorrell

Region 5 Representative (Morgan DD)

Wendy Gorrell serves as the Superintendent of the Morgan County Board of Developmental Disabilities, a position she has held since December 2014. Her extensive career with the Morgan County Board spans over two decades, during which she has steadily advanced through pivotal roles, including Assistant Superintendent, Program Director, Adult Services Director, and Service and Support Administrator (SSA).

With a foundational background in human services stretching back to 1994, Wendy brings deep expertise from her earlier work in mental health and family services across both Ohio and Arkansas.

A highly engaged leader within Ohio’s developmental disabilities network, Wendy has served as a Trustee for  OACB since 2022. Her state and regional leadership portfolio also includes serving as Vice President of the Ohio Superintendents of County Boards of DD Executive Committee, President of Region 5, and Treasurer for MEORC. Outside of her public service, Wendy actively volunteers on mission trips to Honduras and enjoys spending time with her family.
