JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) — According to unofficial results, 23.61% of registered voters in Jackson County cast ballots in the 2025 November general election.
Voters in the city of Jackson selected Brett Foster with 342 votes, Brittony Hinsch with 339 votes and Marva Colby with 255 votes to fill Council at Large seats. Write-in candidates received 219 votes.
Voters in the Village of Oak Hill selected Brian T. Moore with 191 votes, Terry L. McCain with 138 votes, Tara Kay Cooper with 65 votes and one write-in candidate with 113 votes to fill Council at Large seats. Jeremy L. VanDine received 61 votes, Kay I. Cooper received 57 votes, while an additional write-in candidate received 31 votes.
Voters in Franklin Township selected Scott Fraley with 244 votes and Jack L. Webb with 237 votes to serve as Trustees. Todd A. Riegel received 142 votes.
Voters in Hamilton Township selected Shane Meldick with 119 votes and Dale William Cox with 118 votes to serve as Trustees. Delmar K. Reed received 104 votes.
Voters in Lick Township selected Steven Gilliland with 209 votes and Steve Willis with 177 votes to serve as Trustees. Bobby Haislop received 175 votes, while Shawn Sexton received 161 votes.
Voters in Madison Township selected Charles Danny McNeal with 363 votes and Greg Potter with 188 votes to serve as Trustees. Kyle Andrew Wells received 106 votes, David P. Ward received 76 votes, and Corey Scott Ruby received 27 votes.
Voters in Washington Township selected Lowell K. Jones Jr. with 100 votes and Jeff Bates with 76 votes to serve as Trustees. Davey Homer Adkins received 70 votes.
Voters served by the Gallia Local School Board of Education in Jackson County cast 34 votes for Beth James, 30 votes for David Small, 30 votes for Paula E. Whitt and 15 votes for Brandon Twyman to serve as board members. This race is combined with Gallia County.
Voters served by the Oak Hill Union Board of Education in Jackson County cast 881 votes for Scott E. Gilliland, 527 votes for Joseph A. Elcess and 493 votes for Michael P. French Jr. to serve as board members. This race is combined with Lawrence County.
Voters served by the Vinton County Local School District Board of Education in Jackson County cast two votes for Cindy L. Strausbaugh to serve as a board member. This race is combined with Vinton County.
Voters served by the Wellston City Board of Education in Jackson County selected John M. Jackson with 626 votes, Roger S. Rader with 585 votes and Sharon E. Brenner with 536 votes to serve as board members. Betty Jenkins received 502 votes, Jamie L. Hilton received 370 votes, while Joel A. Eisnaugle received 313 votes.
