Halloween hootenanny

Staff

TIFFIN — Costumes, candy and community spirit filled the Seneca County Opportunity Center grounds Thursday evening during the annual Hoot in the Park celebration.

Children and families followed the Trick-or-Treat Trail through Opportunity Park, collecting candy from volunteers with ACT (Advocates Coming Together) Council, the SCOC Aktion Club and area sponsors. The event, designed to be non-scary and accessible for all, once again offered a fun and inclusive way for families to enjoy the Halloween season.

Hoot in the Park has been a longtime collaboration between ACT Council and the Aktion Club, a branch of Kiwanis made up of adults with disabilities who participate in community service projects.
