Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities (Cuyahoga DD) employees and individuals they serve are collaborating in a unique initiative aimed at supporting local organizations. The fourth annual “Days of Service” event brings together staff members and people served by Cuyahoga DD to volunteer at 17 mission-driven organizations across the region. This effort emphasizes teamwork while fostering community engagement through shared service activities.
The event spans multiple days, during which participants work side-by-side to assist various nonprofits and community groups. Volunteers contribute their time and efforts to tasks such as organizing supplies, cleaning facilities, preparing meals, and other activities tailored to the needs of each organization. By partnering with these local entities, Cuyahoga DD aims to strengthen ties within the community while providing meaningful opportunities for both staff members and those they support to engage in collaborative service projects.
